MISSION STATEMENT

Secure in a historic past, the people of St. Philip Neri Parish enter a new century as a Catholic community dedicated and committed to speaking and acting in Christ’s name through fervent prayer and service.

We draw from our strength of community; each of us an important part of the church we continue to build. With open hearts we welcome and embrace those who are in need and invite them into the Family of our Church.

The celebration of the Eucharist is and will continue to be the act that brings us together as individuals, and families, binding us as a community. Through this act of worship we preserve Christ’s presence in each of our lives and share in the experience of His love and His promise of salvation.

As a family we pray for a world that hungers for His Presence both in Word and Sacrament. We accept the mission of proclaiming the Gospel as our work so that all who wish may hear God’s message and come to know its comfort and its peace. The knowledge of the Gospel and its integration into daily life is a gift which we wish to share freely and abundantly in our community.

Our aspiration is to live in harmony with God, our neighbors, and ourselves, sustaining the spirit of unity and growth within our parish. This will be a continuation of our legacy, which has been central to our community, and carried into the new millennium.

We pray for the Father’s continued blessing, the Son’s eternal love, and the Holy Spirit’s guidance. We ask Mary, our Mother, to intercede for our success.

"With Christ, all will be brought back to life"
